The museum is an excellent place to start if you have ever been interested in learning more about ancient Egyptian civilization. Learning about the practice of mummification is extremely interesting to many people.

The Hanging Church will be your next stop in Coptic Cairo. This basilica church’s name was given to it because of its perch atop the south gate of the Fortress of Babylon. The third day of your Nile Cruise from Cairo and Dahabiya will start with a drive from your hotel to the airport for your quick flight to Luxor. Your Cairo and Dahabiya Nile Cruise will continue from Esna to Edfu, where you will disembark and take a horse-drawn carriage to the magnificent Temple of Horus. After this enjoyable outing, you will be driven to the magnificent Edfu souk, where you can go shopping or just take a stroll while taking in the sights and noises. We continue till we arrive at the Speos of Hormoheb.

You will sail for Kom Ombo on day five of your Cairo and Dahabiya Nile Cruise vacation package in order to view the Temple of Sobek.
