Day 02: Experience Cairo
You will meet your guide and driver for a full day of sightseeing right after breakfast.
Start your day by visiting the renowned Giza Plateau, the sole survivor of the original seven wonders of the ancient world. The Great Pyramid of Khufu, also known as Cheops by the ancient Greeks, is visible here. You can also visit the pyramids of Khafre (Chephren) and Menkaure in addition to Cheops (Mykerinos). On the Plateau sits the famous Sphinx, another magnificent yet enigmatic building.
The Egyptian Museum in Cairo is the next destination on your itinerary. The museum was constructed in the neo-classical style, as designed by French architect Marcel Dourgnon. You can look at more than 120,000 artifacts inside the museum, dating from the pre-dynastic period all the way up to the Greco-Roman era. Enjoy the one and only surviving image of Khufu, who built the Great Pyramid in Egypt. The burial wealth of Ruler Tut, statues of King Akhenaten (the heretic king), and much more are also inside. The museum is an excellent place to start if you have ever been interested in learning more about ancient Egyptian civilization. Learning about the practice of mummification is extremely interesting to many people.
The Hanging Church will be your next stop in Coptic Cairo. This basilica church’s name was given to it because of its perch atop the south gate of the Fortress of Babylon. Visit the Khan el-Khalili Bazaar in Cairo’s Islamic neighborhood to conclude your day excursion. This significant souk is one of Cairo’s top tourist destinations. Return to the hotel to finish up your Cairo overnight stay.

Day 03: Fly to Luxor and lose yourself
The third day of your Nile Cruise from Cairo and Dahabiya will start with a drive from your hotel to the airport for your quick flight to Luxor. Once more, when you land in Luxor, your Egyptologist tour guide and a driver will be waiting to take you to the majestic Karnak Temple complex, the largest temple complex ever constructed.
I put it, which translates to “The Most Sacred of Places,” is the temple’s old name. Karnak is actually a collection of temples that were built over the course of more than two thousand years. Pharaohs from generation to generation worked on the facility. Take a thorough look around the temple beginning with the Hypostyle Hall, which features a fantastic forest of enormous pillars.
After a casual lunch at a local restaurant, continue to the Valley of the Kings. Many spectacular tombs that are deeply carved into the rock and loaded with treasures and elaborate decorations so the pharaohs might use them in the afterlife can be found throughout the valley.
The majestic temple at El Deir El Bahary, constructed for Queen Hatshepsut, is a fitting way to end this day of exploration. She was the only female pharaoh, and her temple rises in a series of terraces from the plain before blending in with the surrounding limestone cliffs. After that, you will proceed to Esna, where your Dahabiya riverboat will be waiting for you.

Day 04: Cruise to Esna and on to the Speos of Hormoheb
Your Cairo and Dahabiya Nile Cruise will continue from Esna to Edfu, where you will disembark and take a horse-drawn carriage to the magnificent Temple of Horus. After this enjoyable outing, you will be driven to the magnificent Edfu souk, where you can go shopping or just take a stroll while taking in the sights and noises. We continue till we arrive at the Speos of Hormoheb.
Dinner will be served on the premises once you have had a chance to explore and photograph this historic chapel. The structure is not only directly in front of you, but it will also be illuminated, making for a really unique experience. On the Dahabiya, spend the night.

Day 05: Cruising the Nile River
You will sail for Kom Ombo on day five of your Cairo and Dahabiya Nile Cruise vacation package in order to view the Temple of Sobek. The two temples that make up this remarkable complex are really mirror images of one another. Both had to be constructed in every way identically because they were each dedicated to a different god.
Following a tour of these magnificent buildings, you will sail to a small, serene island in the Nile River. On the island, which is conveniently close to Aswan, dinner will be provided. Spend the evening at the Dahabiya.
