Cairo day tours led by Egyptologists
A Cairo day tour usually means one of three things: the Giza Pyramids and Sphinx (often combined with a camel ride), the museums, or historic Cairo. For the pyramid field, most visitors pair Giza with the older pyramids at Saqqara and Dahshur and the open-air museum at Memphis. Museum days cover the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir and, increasingly, the Grand Egyptian Museum near Giza. Historic Cairo days walk through Coptic Cairo, the Citadel of Salah El-Din and the Khan El-Khalili bazaar.
