The Great Pyramids of Giza
Begins at 8:00 a.m. Pickup from your Cairo or Giza hotel The Great Pyramids of Giza, Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos, are the first stop on your full-day tour. Next, go to the Valley Temple, where the priests mummified King Chephren’s lifeless body. You can also get a close-up view of The Sphinx, a fabled guardian with a lion’s body and king Chephren’s head that stands by a sizable funeral complex. (Time Spent: 2:30)
Between visits, lunch is provided at a nearby restaurant based on a full meal for each person; however, beverages are not covered (1 hour time Spent)
Sakkara Pyramid
Then go to Sakkara, which is only 27 kilometers southwest of Cairo. Visit the Step Pyramid (built for King Zoser), which is regarded as a crucial stage in the evolution of the pyramids from the straightforward mastaba to its well-known shape. (2 hours total)
Dahshur Pyramids
Next, go to the Dahshur Pyramids (Bent and Red Pyramids) About 40 kilometers (25 miles) south of Cairo, on the West Bank of the Nile, is a royal necropolis called the Dahshur region. It is well renowned for its several pyramids, two of which were constructed between 2613 and 2589 BCE and are among the oldest, largest, and best preserved in all of Egypt. (1 hour Expended)
Memphis City
Visit Memphis City, the former capital of Egypt, to see the enormous statue of Ramses II and the magnificent Sphinx made of alabaster. This city was founded about 3100 B.C. (1 hour time Spent)
