Sharm El Sheikh day trip to St. Catherine and Dahab
The St. Catherine monastery, which is the oldest monastery in Christianity and is located 220 kilometers northwest of Sharm el Sheikh, will be visited. Our representative will pick you up from the hotel at around 9:00 PM after a roughly 2, 30-hour trip.
Within its magnificent walls, a fortress unlike any other, extraordinarily rich in significant religious and historical structures, rests an Orthodox Greek monastery.
Its assets include an icon and manuscript library that is second only to the Vatican’s own, as well as a cathedral from the sixth century that is said to be located directly where the Burning Bush once stood.
