Edfu Temple
Your guide from Dr. Mo Tour will pick you up at 7:00 am from your hotel in Luxor and bring you south for around 50 minutes to Edfu. Upon reaching Edfu, you can explore the magnificent Temple of Edfu, which is devoted to Horus and is often regarded as the best surviving cult temple in Egypt.
According to Egyptian mythology, Seth was killed there by the falcon-headed god Horus as retaliation for the death of his father Osiris.
In between visits, lunch is provided at a nearby restaurant based on a full meal for each person; however, beverages are not covered.
Kom Ombo Temple
After that, carry on with your day trip to Kom Ombo, which is about a 45-minute drive from Edfu Arrival Kom Ombo Transfer, to view the Temple of Kom Ombo, which is perched on a high plateau overlooking the Nile.
The double entrance, each of which is devoted to a different deity—”Haroeris” with his falcon head and “Sobek” with his crocodile head—sets it apart from other temples. The crocodile-headed fertility god and world-creator Sobek and the falcon-headed ancient god Horus, known as Haroeris, were the two gods in whose honor the Temple of Kom Ombo was constructed. Additionally, Kom Ombo is significant for its enormous sugarcane.
Then, transfer back to your Luxor hotel at approximately 17:30. You will have a private, knowledgeable guide with you the entire time, up until your return to Luxor.
