He or she will accompany you on a private guided day journey to Cairo from Hurghada to explore all that Cairo and Giza have to offer, beginning with one of the Seven Wonders of the World: the Great Pyramid of Giza.
Giza Pyramids Complex
The wonderful history of the ancient Egyptian civilization is commemorated at the Giza Pyramid Complex every day till all time is lost. The three main great pyramids, six smaller pyramids, the enormous sphinx, and the valley temple make up the Great Giza complex.
The Great Pyramid
The Great Pyramid
The final remaining example of the seven wonders of the ancient world, the Great Pyramid of Khufu is a work of unbridled majesty built to defy the passage of time. In 2580 BC, the Khufu pyramid was built over the course of 20 years utilizing 2,300,000 pieces of 2.5-ton limestone and a workforce of about 100,000 experienced free laborers. Its height of 147 meters (481 feet) made it the highest structure in history for 3800 years, and the interior is exquisitely decorated.
The Great Sphinx
The Great Sphinx
The Great Sphinx, also known as “Hor-em-Akhet,” or “Horus of the Horizon,” is Egypt’s everlasting heavenly protector. The sphinx is 73 meters (240 feet) tall, 19 meters (66 feet) broad, and is shaped like the sphinx, a mythical animal with the body of a lion and the head of a man thought to be king Khafre to display his strength and wisdom.
The Valley Temple
The Valley Temple
It was created during the Old Kingdom of Egypt (2686–2134 BC) to be the location where mummification took place. The valley is also particularly well preserved archaeologically because it provides important details about ancient Egyptian funeral ceremonies.
Lunch will be served at a Pyramids/ Nile view restaurant, then move to visit:
The Egyptian Museum
The Egyptian Museum
The Egyptian Museum is a time capsule containing the most important ancient Egyptian artifacts from more than 4,000 years ago on its two floors, made of priceless materials like gold, silver, and precious gems as well as common ones like wood or stone found in the form of statues and funerary objects, as well as a number of other amazing structures that are well worth exploring.
Al Muizz Street
Al Muizz Street
The illuminating and blessed Al-Muizz street, located in the middle of Old Cairo and not far from Khan El Khalili Bazaar, which is home to the most fascinating collection of historic artifacts and architecture, is thought to date back to the 10th century AD.
Khan El Khalili Bazaar
Khan El Khalili Bazaar
The Khan El Khalili Bazaar is a famous street from history that was built in 970 AD to be the Middle East’s equivalent of the Golden Brick Road. It is still a bustling bazaar with all the shops and markets a traveler could want, as well as a number of antique cafes that capture the elegance and prestige of classical Islamic culture.
