The Valley of the Kings, located in the middle of a mountain, is like a fairy tale come to life, full of the treasures and tombs of numerous kings and queens of the New Kingdom (1570–1070 BC). There are up to 63 tombs there, with about 20 of them being those of well-known monarchs like Tutankhamun, Seti I, Hatshepsut, Ramses VI, and more.

The Colossi of Memnon, built during the reign of Pharaoh Amenhotep (1386–1350 BC), is one of the most extraordinary structures ever to have existed in Luxor. It was transported all the way to Cairo across 700 km, weighs 720 tonnes, and stands at a height of 18 m (60 ft). It was then modeled after in 199 AD.

The fabled Karnak temple complex, which is located in Luxor, served as Upper Egypt’s spiritual and religious center and was regarded as the most prestigious location. It was constructed between 2055 BC and 100 AD and is regarded as the largest open-air museum in the world. It was created to commemorate gods like Ptah, Osiris, Isis, and primarily the Theban triad.
