Tour Itinerary
Edfu Temple
Early in the morning, one of “Dr. Mo Tours” top tour operators will pick you up from your accommodation in Marsa Alam and drive you nearly 4 hours in a private, air-conditioned car to Edfu. Once there, go to see:
Edfu Temple
One of the most magnificent temples along the Nile was built during the Greco-Roman era and is called Edfu Temple. The paintings and decorations on the temple’s walls were a great surprise because the pharaohs of Egypt’s form were expertly preserved by the temple’s talented builders. The temple is dedicated to Horus, a falcon-headed deity who murdered Seth, who had killed Osiris’s father.
Lunch is served at a local restaurant then proceed to witness:
Kom Ombo Temple
Kom Ombo Temple
The construction of the Kom Ombo Temple began during the Ptolemaic era and was only completed during the Roman era. Two of the most well-known Egyptian gods, Horus and Sobek, have identical temples in Kom Ombo.
At last, we will transfer you back to Marsa Alam by your air-conditioned vehicle.
