Your Dr. Mo Tours expert tour guide will pick you up from your Aswan hotel at 8:00 am and take you on a 3-hour drive to the south of Aswan so you can enjoy an Abu Simbel day trip from Aswan.
The two temples at Abu Simbel are regarded as the pinnacles of ancient Egypt because of their distinctive architecture.
They display the splendor and majesty of the future Kingdom. In order to safeguard these temples from flood, the Egyptian government and UNESCO made the decision to work together. The four global gods Ptah, Re-Her-Akhtey, Amun-Re, and Ramesses II were honored at the temple that bears their names. The Sun Temple of Ramses II is another name for the enormous Abu Simbel temple.
