Tour Itinerary
As requested and on time Dr. Mo Tours guide will pick you up from your hotel or Nile Cruise in Aswan, and you will begin your tour by Felucca sailing around Elephantine Island on the lovely Nile.
Elephantine Island is an island in the Nile that is located across from Aswan. The 18th and 19th dynasties' pharaohs constructed a sizable temple there for the island's traditional gods, Khnum, Sati, and Anuket. It has Aswan Museum and an ancient milometer in the form of ancient stairs leading into the river cut into the rock, as well as a number of spectacular rock tombs and shrines of the Old and Middle Kingdom nobility of the city. Two Nubian settlements are concealed by palm groves in the center of the island, where they frequently welcome visitors and provide a picturesque setting along the river. The Movenpick Aswan, an opulent hotel, is situated at its northern end.
By motorboat or on a felucca that may be rented from the east bank of the river at Aswan, you can get to Elephantine Island.
