The drive north along the Nile is about 220 km and takes 3 to 3.5 hours. On the way you pass Kom Ombo, Edfu and Esna, and you can add guided stops at the Temple of Kom Ombo and the Temple of Horus at Edfu to see the main cruise sights in one day.
