Cairo traffic is the main variable. From Downtown or Zamalek allow 45 to 60 minutes, from Giza and the Pyramids area 75 to 90 minutes, and from New Cairo about 30 minutes. For international flights we recommend leaving your hotel about four hours before departure; for domestic flights to Luxor, Aswan or Hurghada, three hours is usually enough.
