The Unfinished Obelisk
The fabled Hatshepsut Obelisk, which stood in the Karnak Temple and was to have been 42 meters tall and weighed 1200 tonnes, was never completed (1507–1458 BC).

Edfu Temple
The Edfu Temple of the sky falcon god Horus, who represents triumph and protection, is one of the best-preserved temples. It was built between 237 BC and 57 BC on the site where Horus fought his evil uncle Set.

Day 03: Visit the Heavenly Wonders of Luxor

The Valley of the Kings is located in the center of a heavenly hill that served as the location of 63 tombs for legendary pharaohs and queens, including Tutankhamun, Seti I, the entire Ramses Dynasty, and many others, for more than 500 years during the New Kingdom (1570–1050 BC). These tombs contained incredible treasures, decorations, artifacts, and more.
Hatshepsut Temple
In order to commemorate the heritage and accomplishments of Hatshepsut and to host the valley festival in the sanctuary of Amun, the temple was cut into the Deir el-Bahari cliffs in the fifteenth century BC.
Colossi of Memnon
The remaining remnants of Pharaoh Amenhotep III’s vanished mortuary temple are two quartzite twin sculptures known as the Colossi of Memnon (1386–1350 BC).
Before visiting, the complete family will take a break for lunch:
Karnak Temples Complex
A hub for religious activity in ancient Egypt, the Karnak Temples Complex was constructed on 247 acres over a period of 1500 years, from the Middle Kingdom (2000-1700 BCE) through the Ptolemaic Kingdom (305-30 BCE). It is the largest outdoor museum and is home to the Great Hypostyle Hall, and a number of Amun-Re and Mut precincts, among other things.
