Meals: Dinner

After breakfast, the entire family will leave with their tour guide to explore:

Giza Pyramids Complex

The Giza Pyramids Complex is home to numerous ancient structures that date back to then 4500 years, such as:

The Great Pyramid

The Great Pyramid of Pharaoh Khufu is a stunningly magnificent structure that serves as the sole extant example of an earlier era’s wonders. It is one of the tallest and oldest structures on the planet, having been built by his vizier Hemiunu in 2600 BC using 2.3 million limestone blocks to reach a height of 147 meters (481 feet) and a weight of up to 6 million tonnes.

The Great Sphinx

Khafre’s enormous Sphinx (2558 – 2532 BC) One of the biggest and oldest statues ever created by humans, Horus of the Horizon, depicts Khafre’s face and the body of a lion. The fabled dream stele of Thutmose IV is displayed in front of the Sphinx.

The Valley Temple

The principal goal of the valley Temple was to finish mummifying the former kingdom’s rulers and queens.

The entire family will eat lunch at a magnificent restaurant with a view of the Pyramids and the Nile before traveling to:

Saqqara Step Pyramid

The great step pyramid of Saqqara was constructed for pharaoh Djoser between 2670 and 2650 BC thanks to the original idea of his vizier Imhotep, who sought to construct a six-step pyramid with a funeral complex and a sizable plaza.

Memphis City

Memphis City, which was the initial capital of all of Egypt under the leadership of Pharaoh Narmer in 3200 BC, is one of the oldest towns ever constructed. It was shielded from harm by the deity Ptah, the patron of craftsmanship and the arts, at this time. It was referred to as the enclosure of the ka of Ptah, which served as the source of the name “Egypt” and was formerly known in Greek as “Egypt.”

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

After breakfast, the entire family will leave with their tour guide to see the treasures at the heart of Cairo, such as:

The Egyptian Museum

Opened in 1901, the Egyptian Museum is a historical and cultural treasure that houses several monuments and relics that date back more than 5000 years.

The entire family will eat lunch in Cairo before traveling to:

Salah El Din Citadel

Between 1176 and 1182, the Cairo Citadel was built as a strong defensive fortification and served as the seat of Egypt’s government for more than 700 years. The citadel is home to numerous mosques and museums, all of which display stunning Islamic architecture and decor.

Mohamed Ali Mosque

Mohamed Ali Mosque, a beautiful place of worship built between 1830 and 1848, has become a true emblem of independence. It is regarded as the pinnacle of Ottoman architecture and artwork. Due to the walls’ use of white alabaster from the Giza complex, it has earned the moniker “The Alabaster Mosque.”

The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization

To shed some light on Egypt’s extensive history and culture, the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC) was established in 2017. Approximately 50,000 works of art from various periods—including the Pharaonic, Greco-Roman, Coptic, and Islamic eras—across more than 5000 years are shown in the museum in the best possible way. 18 remarkably well-preserved monarchs and 4 queens who date back more than 4500 years can be found in the hall of mummies.

Khan El Khalili Bazaar

The Khan El-Khalili Bazaar, which was built in 970 AD, is a legendary shopping district that houses many remarkable artifacts and some of Cairo’s best craftsmen. It also has some breathtaking decorations.

The entire family will return to their Cairo hotel to spend the night.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

After breakfast, the complete family will travel in a private A/C car with their tour guide to the charming city of Alexandria to explore:

A wonder from the Middle Ages, the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa date back to the 2nd century BC. Its three floors include the Caracalla hall from the early Roman and Hellenistic times as well as distinctive embellishments.

Pompey’s Pillar

The 33.85 m tall, granite Pompey’s Pillar, which was built for the Roman emperor Diocletian in 300 AD, is said to contain General Pompey’s remains.

Qaitbay Citadel

In the identical spot where formerly stood the Lighthouse of Alexandria, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, Mamluk Sultan Al-Ashraf Sayf al-Din Quit Bay built the Qaitbay Citadel in 1447 AD. It is located on the Mediterranean Sea coast.

Lunch will be served to the entire family in an Alexandrian eatery.

Alexandria Library

In order to preserve the essence of the historic library of Alexandria, the Bibliotheca of Alexandria was made accessible to the general public in 2002.
