Marsa Alam is the quietest stretch of Egypt's Red Sea coast and is known for reef diving and snorkelling, including sites where dolphins, turtles and dugongs are seen. Inland trips are long but rewarding: Edfu and Kom Ombo temples, or a full day in Luxor. Cairo is reached by flight.
Pick-up is from Marsa Alam hotels and Port Ghalib. For Luxor and Edfu trips we recommend an early start so you reach the temples before the midday heat.
