A snorkelling trip on Marsa Alam's reefs, the least crowded part of Egypt's Red Sea coast. Hotel pick-up, then either a boat trip to offshore reefs or a shore snorkel at one of the protected bays, depending on the day's sea conditions. Marsa Alam is known for healthy coral and big marine life. The bays south of the town are famous for sea turtles feeding on seagrass, and dolphins and, rarely, dugongs are seen in the area. Visibility is often more than 20 metres. Water ranges from about 23°C in winter to 29°C in summer.
