When you arrive at Aswan airport, you will meet your Egyptologist tour guide to explore the magnificent city of Aswan, including The High Dam, which was built in 1960 AD to defend Egypt from the Nile flood by Egyptian president Gamal Abdel Nasser.
Once there, you'll enjoy a motorboat sailing on the Nile River to Agilika Island, where you'll explore the Temple of Philae, a building constructed during the Greco-Roman era and devoted to the goddess Isis (mother of god Horus).
The Unfinished Obelisk, a magnificent site in Aswan formed of red granite and dedicated to the god Amun Ra, will be the last place you are taken.
Transfer to your ship, where you can eat lunch while making your way to Kom Ombo.
While sailing to Kom Ombo city, enjoy your lunch on board the cruise. Once you arrive, explore the Temple of Kom Ombo, where the two gods Sobek and Haroeris were once worshipped. Return to your ship and take in the vast river Nile's distinctive scenery. The development and flourishing of the ancient Egyptian civilization took place on its banks. While traveling to the city of Edfu, dinner will be served on board. Arrives in Edfu in the late evening; stays the night.
