Day Trip to Alexandria from Cairo by Car

As your private tour guide, we will pick you up from your Cairo hotel in the morning and drive you to Alexandria. Once there, take in some of Alexandria’s main tourist attractions, such as:

Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa

a Roman burial where a family tomb exhibits the fusion of Roman and Egyptian design. To see the tomb and Caracalla Hall, go underneath.

Pompey’s Pillar

A granite column measuring 82 feet (25 meters) high was erected to pay tribute to Emperor Diocletian, who liberated the besieged city and provided food to its starving populace.

Qaitbay Citadel

On the Mediterranean coast, a fortress from the 15th century. In the year 1477, Sultan Al-Ashraf Qa’it Bay founded it. Pharaoh’s Island and Qaitbay Citadel are both located in the same place.

Alexandria Library

The library is one of the world’s greatest literary institutions since it houses copies of every book ever published. The Alexandria Library also has a number of displays about Egyptian history as well as a collection of priceless old books.

Return to Cairo by car, then be taken to your accommodation.
