Luxor Temple

Continue your trip to Luxor Temple, which is located in the heart of Luxor City and served as the opposite end of the Sphinx Avenue that connected Karnak Temple to Luxor Temple. Amenhotep III (r. 1386–r. 1349 BC) and Ramses II (r. 1290–r. 1223 BC) erected the Luxor Temple, with additional work done on it by Tutankhamon, Hormohep, and Alexander the Great.
