We’ll continue on to take in the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, who ruled Egypt for almost 20 years during the 18th Dynasty and was the daughter of Thutmos I. (approximately from 1490 to 1469 BC). She was the only female pharaoh in the annals of ancient Egypt.

You will then go to the Karnak Temple, which was built to honor the god Amon, his wife Mut, and their son Khonsu. It is the best representation of adoration ever created in antiquity. Beginning from the start of the Middle Kingdom and lasting through the Greco-Roman Kingdom, it was built.
The Luxor Temple will be our next stop. Ramses II completed it after Amenhotep III had begun it during the New Kingdom. The most renowned ruler of the 19th Dynasty was King Ramses II. Over the course of 67 years, he controlled the Egyptian Kingdom. Amun-Ra, Mut, and Khonsu, the couple’s son, were honored at the temple.
At the end of the day, you will transfer back to your resort for check-in and overnight.

Day 02: Dendera and Abydos
Start your day trip after receiving a breakfast box from your hotel: One of Egypt’s oldest cities, Abydos is also regarded as one of the most important archaeological sites. Examine the well-preserved, partially coloured reliefs in the Temple of Seti I and the renowned Abydos King List, which lists the ancient monarchs who ruled before Seti. Menes, the first pharaoh of a united Egypt, will be at the top of the list, and Ramses I, Seti’s father, will be at the bottom. The list is regarded as a comprehensive listing of Ancient Egypt’s pharaohs, with the exception of a few who were to be erased from people’s memories. As such, it serves as an invaluable tip for Egyptologists.
After that, we’ll go to the Osireion, a section of the Temple of Pharaoh Seti I that was constructed in honour of the deity Osiris and, according to myth, once held his head. A temple constructed by Ramses II not far from Seti I’s Temple is remarkable because it depicts the battles of this pharaoh, who is arguably the greatest and most powerful person in the history of the Egyptian Empire, in intricate reliefs despite not being as well preserved.
We will go to Dendera, the second stop on the itinerary, after lunch. It is a magnificent Ptolemaic temple honouring the goddess Hathor and one of Egypt’s best-preserved shrines.
Transfer back to your hotel in Luxor, the airport, or the train station in Luxor.
